As we expand our brewery operations in Felons located at Manly Wharf, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Brewery Operations Assistant to join the team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role will play a key part in the day-to-day brewing operations, supporting the Lead Brewer to maintain and deliver on production.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for maintenance and optimisation of the end-to-end brewing schedule
  • Working hand in hand with sales, marketing, hospitality and brewing to build and execute an ongoing demand and production plan
  • Materials organisation for day-to-day brewing requirements
  • Oversee and maintain the NSW brewery inventory, including weekly ordering and monthly stocktakes
  • Liaise with external suppliers to manage procurement and delivery of materials
  • Assist Operations Manager in weekly and/or monthly reporting as required
  • Assist Sales and Operations Manager with wholesale logistics for external stakeholders
  • Instil safety and culture of care in all members of the team, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the brewery
  • Be involved in consistent reviews of our care and safety standards - ensuring all customers, consumers and staff are consistently cared for and provided a safe environment
  • Support the strong and practical systems and processes that are in place to maintain our care and safety vision
  • Monitor supply chain, ensuring sufficient stock in warehouses to meet our demand in full and on time
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with managing wholesalers and 3PL relationships
  • Lead inventory levels and monthly stocktaking processes in NSW
  • Actively champion our culture of passion, quality, care and relentless dedication to making and sharing the highest quality beer and experiences
  • Work enthusiastically with the Brewery team – ensuring best practices are adhered to as outlined in our standard operating procedures

What we are looking for:  

  • Ability to effectively follow direction and engage with the team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Works well under pressure with maintaining attention to detail
  • Good at multi-tasking
  • Ability to use multiple system platforms, including MYOB, online logistic software and Microsoft Office Suite (desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously, reporting to an interstate manager
